Juusan Butsu [The 13 Buddha Image]

Originally The thirteen Buddha was curved in shape of the great thirteen temples in Taizoukai Mandala (Womb World) . Later they came to be applied to the seventy seven memorial services after the death. The first seventh day; Fudou Myoo, the twenty seventh day; Shaka Nyorai, the thirty seventh day; Monju Bosatsu, the forty seventh day; Fugen Bosatsu, the fifty seventh day; Jizou bosatsu, the sixty seventh day; Miroku Bosatsu, the seventy seventh day; Yakushi Nyorai, the one hundredth day; Kannon Bosatus, the first anniversary of the death; Seishi Bosatsu, the third anniversary; Amida Nyorai, the seventh anniversary; Ashuku Nyorai, the thirteenth anniversary; Dainichi Nyorai, the thirty third anniversary; Kokuu Bosatsu.
