They are mainly worshipped as the Three Buddha. They are both attendants to Shaka Nyorai as the virtue of wisdom of Monju, and the virtue of reason of Fugen. Also Monju, Fugen Bosatsu express two of the closest Shaributsu, Mokuren) out of the Great 10 Disciples of Shaka.
