Monju Bosatsu is main bosatsu for Mahayana Buddhsim, an attendant to Shaka Nyorai as well as Fugen Bosatsu and consists Shakasanson. Some worship this bosatsu riding a Shishi(mythical lion) independently attended by the Eight Great Douji. It is said that he really existed in the Exoteric Buddhism and also that he collected and edited Buddhism literature. He is deeply related with Hnnya Sutra and controls wisdom of Buddha. There are various kinds of styles, many are riding a Shishi(mythical lion) as a symbol for wrath. A forms of a priest is used for the image in fasting.
