He is a kannon protecting ordinary people with the thick leaves. If his sutra is chanted once, it would protect yourselves; twice, protect your spouse; three times, your family; four times, your village; five times, your nation. He has two styles as following;
Two arms carrying a rope in his left hand, an unopened-lotus flower cane in his right with left knee drawn up.
Four arms carrying a fruit of Buddha, the mudra of Seganin in his right hand, an axe and a rope in his left, sitting on the lotus flower.
